Ain't No Holler Back, Girl

Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangsta

2/18/08 12:42 am - Hey, livejournal. It's been a while.

Holy shit, I kind of forgot I even had this. Let's go over some main points in my life right now:

-A rock destroyed my car.
-I really really hate my fucking job now.
-School blows and most of my classes are bullshit.
-My parents will be officially divorced in about 2 months.
-I am totally obsessed with of Montreal.
-I now have a very small group of friends that I communicate with regularly.
-I'm fucking lonely and sad and pathetic.
-I'm using livejournal for the first time in about a year or two to pity myself and my life.

Congrats, Shawn, you've reached a new high.

I am Jack's inflamed sense of rejection.

1/7/07 12:35 am - What a fun day.

Today's events:

Work with T-Mart.

Go to Chili's, then On The Border because Chili's was so busy, then back to Chili's (because OTB was even busier) to have a sweet take-out dinner with Jamie in the parking lot. Listen to rad Tony Pounders music and Jamie's mom saying Gay-lookin'.

Go to speedway to get drinks and see Danny Neville.

Pick up Klaud.

Go back to speedway so Klaud can get cigarettes. He gets denied, so we go 3 feet away to the liquor store. Cigarettes were then obtained.

Go to AMC 10 to find out what's playing and see something.

Go to AMC 20 because AMC 10 isn't playing anything good and the line is 51 miles long.

Decide not to see anything at AMC 20, but see Dan Reschke and Taylor Sajack.

Go to Family video.

Try to figure out how to turn a light off in the back of Jamie's car. Call Mrs. Pounders to find out, but no success.

Leave Family video, then go back to go next door to Dairy Queen.

Go to pick up Troy.

Turn around because of an accident.

Get lost in a subdivision whilst trying to find another route to Troy's house, because Jamie doesn't go all the way to the main street.

More Tony Pounders music. The light in the back is still on.

Bet one of my guitars against Klaudio's mp3 player about where the accident had been. Call the bet off because Jamie doesn't allow betting in her car.

Finally pick up Troy.

Watch Jackass 2 at Klaud's house. Ted comes.

Get my ass kicked in pool.

Get dropped off back home.

Write Livejournal entry.

Go to sleep.

9/13/06 06:02 pm

So the plan for today: Ted's mom picks he and I up, we drop her off, and then go to Jamie's.

So after school to get help in math class and afterwards, I call Ted and ask where he is. He says he's walking home. I ask why and he says because his mom's visiting his grandma so he doesn't have a car.

So I call Jamie and ask if I can just walk to her house now. She says yeah, and I begin my journey. A little while after passing the ambulance picking up the boy hit by a car on his bike, she calls me back and says I can't go over because her mom's not home.

So I call Delisle. He doesn't pick up.

So I call Galka. He doesn't pick up.

So I call Lavens. He says I can come over for an hour, until he has to go to work. So I start on my way to his house, and it starts to rain. Then it starts to pour. Then it starts to pour really, really hard. Then I'm completely soaked.

So I start towards Galka's, which is a lot closer, to take cover on his porch until he gets home. Right as I'm turning onto his street, he calls me and I try to get some cover from a tree and answer my phone. I ask him if I can come over, but I can't, because his parents aren't home. He does, however, offer to give me a ride to Lavens' house. But he doesn't have the Focus and he can't use his sister's SUV, so he uses his brother's car. Now, the thing about his brother's car is that he can go a maximum of four miles before it overheats and stalls and dies. And its gas tank is on Empty. And the driver's side door doesn't lock. And the passenger window doesn't roll up straight. And the passenger side mirror is just barely hanging on. And it's a peice of crap.

So we get to Lavens' house and park in the street and stand with him on the porch for a bit, until he has to get ready for work. So I call Brian and ask him if he can give me a ride home, and the good soul says yes. So he comes to Lavens', and Galka and I get into Galka's brother's car to drive it back with Brian and then have him take us back to my house. But when Galka starts it, it dies. And he can't get it started again. Except for once. But then it dies again. And Galka guesses that the gas tank is empty and the battery is dead.

So we push the car to Matt's house. In the pouring rain. All three of us, as wet as we've ever been, we push it for maybe a quarter mile, while people driving by stop and make ass-hole comments like "It's a little wet today, huh?" or "Bad time for your car to break down, eh?" Then when we get there, Galka decides to change and says he'll meet up with us back at Brian's car, which is still at Lavens' house.

So Brian and I start back towards his car... but we get lost. And we keep walking down a street until we get to Country Club, where we decide to stop by Jamie's house to ask directions to get back to Lavens'. She tells us how to get there and gives us an umbrella out of the goodness of her heart, which, while we do appreciate it, does not really serve a purpose because we're already completely soaked, so we start walking to follow her directions when we see MSG running down the street in his change of clothes, soaked again. He had run to Brian's car and then ran around the neighborhood looking for us. So we get to Brian's car and drive back to Galka's so he can change again, then we drive back to my house and dry off and play some guitar hero.

What an eventful day.

9/11/06 06:59 pm

So there's this man, and he lived his whole life on Earth, and his name was Mr. Stevenson. When Mr. Stevenson was eight years old, he asked another little boy if he would like a Hurts Donut. The other boy said yes. So he hit him on the arm and he said, "Hurts Donut."

Five years later, Mr. Stevenson asked another boy about his same age at that time if he would like a Hurts Donut. when the boy said yes, Mr. Stevenson stabbed him over and over again in his eye and his cheek with a pencil, saying "Hurts Donut."

Over the years, Mr. Stevenson did very well in school. On graduation day, he was sat next to another young man, who, like Mr. Stevenson, had earned high marks. When he asked the boy if he would like a Hurts Donut, the boy said, "Not if you're gonna stab me in the eye with a pencil." "I wouldn't even touch you," said Mr. Stevenson. So when the boy agreed, he presented him with a photograph of the young man's fiancée at a bachelor party, on some guy's table, fucking herself with a beer bottle. As tears filled the young man's eyes, Mr. Stevenson was heard to say, "Hurts Donut."

A few years later, Mr. Stevenson got a job as a sales clerk in an electronics store. Within a year, he was caught stealing and immediately incarcerated. When he asked his cellmate if he would like a Hurts Donut, his cellmate said yeah. So... he gave him a Hurts Donut.

Over the years, Mr. Stevenson grew too old to take care of himself, so they put him in a hospital. One day, he asked the new nurse if she would like a Hurts Donut. In anticipation of her response, Mr. Stevenson began humming and making smacking noises with his mouth. When the nurse smiled and said, "I know about you, Mr. Stevenson," Mr. Stevenson blurted out something totally incoherent and... and began to laugh.

7/12/06 12:25 am

Good day. Saw Chelsey for the first time in about a year. Hung out with Ted, Troy, Galka, and even AMY. First time all summer hanging out with her. Went to Alex's for his and Aaron's birthday celebration, during which we hit up a total of 3 7-11's for free slurpees, and getting them from only one. Yeah.

(Amy, I told you I'd probably write about it because I have nothing better with which to occupy my time.)

You know I'm your hero.

7/8/06 01:10 pm

Tonight rocked. I love my friends.

6/6/06 08:38 pm

And it's harder as anything else.

And I'm lonesome when you're around and I'm never lonesome when I'm by myself.

And I miss you when you're around.

5/30/06 08:55 pm

Today was just an all-around good day. I am satisfied. I am happy.
